Saturday Feb 28 a group of 8 from Iowa and Illinois spent the day on the gym office re-build.
Sat. March 7 a group of 8 from St Joseph's -Marion did the same

March 13 Part of the Notre Dame University crew that
was here October 20-24 during their Fall Break. They came back to CR
for their
Spring Break to work on the neighborhood recovery efforts. They stopped over to say hi and to see the finished rectory basement where they
had spent so many hours in October. You guys are awesome!!!

March 9-13 Students from Finlandia
University and Michigan Tech made the 9 1/2 hour trip to spend their
Spring Break on flood rebuild efforts in Cedar Rapids. They were hosted by St. Stephens Lutheran Church families.

all week and made huge progress on the gym building offices
and restrooms.

diocesan Jubilee officers from the Episcopal
Church are in Cedar Rapids for The National Jubilee Gathering
March 25-28 at Christ Episcopal Church. Day 1 participants spent the day in service helping with flood recovery efforts at
three sites in the city. The convention has drwan representatives from Barbados, Sudan, Puerto Rico, Oregon, Washington,
New York, Texas, Pennsylvania, California. Several of them joined our other volunteers and AmeriCorp-NCCC crew members
to make more progress in our gym building.
